Did you know that 22.8% of Boston's children live in a household with no working adult? Or, that income inequality grew more in Massachusetts over the last twenty years than in all but two states?
United Way of Massachusetts Bay, in partnership with Bank of America and Northeastern University, recently launched Living the Dream. This yearlong action-oriented series aims to jump-start the dialogue, engage the citizenry and create a community blueprint that identifies the action steps and community groups needed to make social, economic and educational opportunities available to everyone in Greater Boston.
We can't do it alone. We need your participation in order to turn dialogue into action. We hope you will join some of Greater Boston's most inspiring civic leaders as they brainstorm solutions to some of the area's most pressing social issues.
