Marketing Coordinator
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The marketing coordinator supports all activities of the marketing department in particular the day to day operations and production of creative work. Reporting to the head of marketing operations, the coordinator’s responsibilities include administrative support, traffic/production assistance, contracts, vendor relations, and serving as the marketing representative to the help desk and other organization-wide initiatives as appropriate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Specifically, the marketing coordinator will:
- Provide traffic and production support of creative materials including opening jobs, maintaining job jackets, proofreading, initiating purchase order requisitions, updating print production database, maintaining production file systems, maintaining video and print libraries.
- Help maintain press clippings, video library, tracking of public visibility placements, and other support functions to the public relations team.
- Maintain holiday and vacation schedules, schedule department meetings, administer contracts, provide limited phone support.
- Track department expenses, coordinate procurement of services, assist in analysis and report development when required.
- Support the senior vice president of marketing when required. Activities may include scheduling, correspondence, travel arrangements, administrative support.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS/BA required.
- Two to five years work experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office environment and Internet.
- Flexible team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
